Dr. Mehta has saved several lives by preventing , early diagnosis , prompt and effective treatment for several skin diseases like deadly skin cancer and several other life threatening skin diseases. He is proud of his profession where he can help human suffering. Not only this Dr.Mehta has participated in number of charitable camps providing free treatments to thousands under privileged patients. He has delivered several health awareness lectures in several communities, schools , television and Radio Etc. Dr.Mehta has successfully treated patients over 140 nationalities. He has worked in five countries in the field of Dermatology on different positions such as Faculty position , Consultant , Chairman and head of Dermatology Department and now in private practice. Dr.Mehta is active member of Several professional , Academic and social societies in the world including American Academy of Dermatology and Rotary club of Dubai.
Dr. Mehta's aim is to reduce the incidence of Skin diseases such as Skin Cancer and other skin diseases and its harmful consequences on individuals . He has organized several free medical camps to provide health awareness.
Prevention , Early and specific Diagnosis and rapid treatment is the Key to reduce incidence of Skin diseases such as skin cancer.
He elaborates, "Since 1985, we have provided skin cancer screenings to large number of patients from all over the world for Melanoma / Skin Cancer Screening program . Skin Cancer can be prevented if you follow preventive guidelines and we can “Spot and Stop” if you report early." “Prevention is better than Cure”
On the Invitation From University of Wollongong in Dubai Dr. Mehta has participated in two free skin consultation and lecture for the “healthy skin Month” for UOWD staff and students. Free consultation timing was extended due to unexpected show up of walk--in students and staff without prior appointments but still Dr.Mehta was able to accommodate them willingly . Dr. Mehta also delivered few lectures for prevention , early diagnosis and rapid treatment for skin diseases and skin cancer.

I truly appreciate your support. , Because of your support six weeks of Camp will be offered in 2011 serving nearly 350 young patients! When asked what AAD camp discovery means to them , one camper said “I know that I can itch and people wont tell me to stop because they know how hard it is”. Another said Camp gives him “ a chance to do things I haven’t done before”. These feelings of acceptance and opportunity abound at AAD Camp discovery , and are mixed with joy of friendship and camaraderie.... such wonderful gifts for children with chronic skin conditions.

Dear fellow Rotarian Dr. Mahaveer Mehta,
I would like personally to thank every single Rotarian who attend, support and contribute for The Rotary Foundation (TRF) and the END POLIO.
Two days were very important days full of joy, knowledge, and fellowship, in the presence of the DG, 8 PDGs, presidents and fellow Rotarians from the district 2450.
We spent a Friday afternoon biking at Bab al Shams Walk, and yesterday and after the training seminar where we learned so much from the DG & PDGs, we spent an unforgettable night full of excitement, and real Rotarian spirit as we collected about 60.000$ dollars .
A very big thank for those who contribute for the rotary foundation, they have been so generous and a big celebration tomorrow during our weekly meeting at DWTC in the presence of the DG Kevork Mahdesian to thank everyone of them and give him/her trophy and certificate of appreciation as a donor.

I would like to thank all the participants, contributors, and the sponsors for the END POLIO BIKING DAY at BAB AL Shams walk on Dec 07/2012 and make it a successful event full of joy and fellowship.
We enjoyed a lot with our fellow Rotarians in the presence of DG Kevork Mahdesian, and PDG Nijad al Atassi, Rotaracts and more than 200 bikers. The event was covered by all the local press.
Special thanks for Rtn. Nesrine bin Darwish for bringing sponsor for the bikes. And at the end we gave trophies for the winners.
