The LimeLight Facial™ is a cutting-edge, non-invasive skin rejuvenation treatment designed to improve skin tone and address surface imperfections caused by aging and sun damage. This advanced procedure utilizes controlled IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) technology for noticeable results.
The LimeLight Facial is a customized IPL treatment that specifically targets skin redness, tiny veins (telangiectasia), brown spots, and signs of photodamage. This innovative therapy provides remarkable skin rejuvenation without invasive techniques.
This treatment is ideal for the face, neck, and décolleté, effectively addressing concerns like skin redness, tiny veins, and light (low contrast) brown spots. Brown spots that were once challenging to treat now respond exceptionally well to the LimeLight Facial.
By selecting one of three customized programs—Program A, B, or C—your practitioner tailors the LimeLight Facial to suit your skin type. The treatment selectively targets and heats pigmented brown or red cells, creating a therapeutic effect that reduces discoloration and rejuvenates your skin.
During the procedure, you may experience a mild pinching or stinging sensation as the light pulse is delivered. To cool the skin before vascular treatments, gel application is recommended. Anesthesia or pain medication is generally not required.
Treatment time depends on the area being addressed, but most sessions take less than one hour.
Typically, one to three sessions are sufficient to achieve visible results. For heavily sun-damaged skin, additional treatments may be recommended.
Immediately after treatment, brown spots will darken, and the skin may appear slightly red and mildly swollen. This usually resolves within a few hours to a day or longer. Makeup can be applied to conceal redness.
Within one to three weeks, darkened spots will naturally flake off and fade. You’ll notice a reduction in redness and telangiectasia, as well as an improvement in your overall skin tone and complexion.
New brown spots, telangiectasia, or redness may develop with additional sun exposure. These can also be treated effectively with LimeLight Facial sessions. Protect your skin with broad-spectrum sunscreen to minimize sun damage and reduce the likelihood of new spots forming. Although rosacea cannot be cured, its appearance can be significantly improved with this treatment.
